The Steepwater Band. I cannot say enough about these talented, humble, down to earth men. If you like blues and rock, you MUST see these guys!!
Becoming a fan of The Steepwater Band was one of the best things I ever did. It has become a friendship (with every member) that I have gained so much from. They have lead me to new friends, amazing local talented musicians, and even my amazing husband. I've traveled to places that I never would have seen because of them, and I'm sure I will see more as time goes on. They really have no idea what an impact they have had on my life.
As life has gone on and changed, they have become more popular (as they should) and they tour extensively, so I don't get to see them like I used to. So I am happy and sad at the same time. But I know one gig I will see them at every year, my birthday gig. I'm not sure how it began, but every year I am honored that they have played at Leroy's in Porter Indiana for my birthday in January (not sure if that's why, but I'm calling it that way because it's always within a week of it, lol). This has been going on for around ten years now. The friends that come out changes over the years, but they always have a great time, and new friends become fans very easily. So yes, I highly recommend seeing The Steepwater Band. Every member brings something amazing to the table. You will not be disappointed, even better, you'll become a fan, a friend, and maybe even a member of the Steepwater family.
